Jan 8 & 15 Mesa Harmony Garden Volunteer Events 9 to 1 PM, The Jan 8 event is followed by a class Selecting and Planting Bare Root Fruit Trees by Larry Saltzman of the SB Permaculture Society! We have 30 more fruit trees to plant, and mountains of mulch to spread! Please bring your good heart, a shovel, pitchfork, wheel barrow, and a friend! Come for an hour or the whole morning! VOTE!

Fairview Gardens “Urban Homesteading,” an exciting new series of classes is scheduled to start in January at Fairview Gardens. It is a wonderful way to reconnect with the earth. The series, designed by the staff at Fairview, will run the full year and covers everything from container gardening, composting and raising chickens, to canning, preserving, and more, taught by the best people in our community on site at the farm. 2011 Master Gardener Program! Applications are due Jan 14th for the mid-February through mid- June classes! Have you, or someone you know wanted to become a Master Gardener?!!
